Printer Error 13.05.00
the printer does not seem to support. It is 4.4" x 5.75". We actually do this for several non standard envelope types. To get it to work, we tweaked the document size settings a little and got it to work with much success. Lately we have been getting a 13.05.00 error claiming a jam. I open cover, remove cartridge and there is sometimes an envelope waiting to enter the fusor. Other times it makes it into the fusor and stops just as it begins to come out the back of the printer. I have scoured the forums for answers and most people seem to point to a swing gate problem. I do not have any noises associated with my problem. And there is no REAL jam inside, all rollers seem to be moving. Is this a document size issue? Is there a printer that is more customizable as far as odd size documents go? You guys are great and I appreciate any help! I've viewed many responses to several problems and hope that one of you gurus can help me too! *wipes brown stuff off nose* Respond to this 0 Oh and BTW we had this problem before, and a new fusor seemed to have fixed it. That was only a few months ago so it seems that it shouldn't need to be replaced, unless something is wearing it out real fast. by gregfooyong on Mar 19, 2007 at 8:58am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I had a similar phantom paper jam error message.... try unplugging & replugging all cords to "reset" -MOST IMPORTANT..........Be sure to unplug the USB cable that goes into the back of your computer. That fixed my HP when I had tred every other trick in the book & spent an hour with HP tech support.Good luck! by Anonymous on Mar 19, 2007 at 9:12am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks, I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for your time though! This problem seems to be intermittent, but has increased over time and now will occur after every 3-4 pages. Sometimes I'll get about 20 out. It really does seem to be random. There are no indicators of mechanical malfunction. No strange noises or resistance or signs of wear. Heeeeeeeelp!!!! The page just stops right before the fusor or right after it enters the fusor. I don't know enough about printers, but there seems to be a small metal device in the middle of the exit of the fusor that will flip up as the page exits. I'm wondering if t
