printer. I have taken the printer apart and checked for paper and cleaned it. There isn’t a trace of paper in there. What I have http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/16075 been told to do is check the sensors in case they are defective or have been blocked. Can anyone tell me where the sensors are? Thanks Respond to this 0 Try running paper from the manual tray on top. If it run ok, you have a problem with the pickup assembly behind tray 1. Let us know and I can provide part number. by dmzcompute on Jan printer error 30, 2004 at 12:02pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Dear dmzcompute, I found this person's question and your reply. This is exactly what I'm experiencing. I followed you instructions and it prints fine through the manual tray. Can you tell me how to fix the pickup assembly? Thanks,Kurt wanfriedRe: 13.20 Error on HP Laserjet 4000N by dmzcompute (1/30/04 12:02 PM) reply + / -Try running paper printer error 13.2 from the manual tray on top. You have a piece of paper stuck behind tray 1 which means the tray 1 asssembly probably needs to come off. First I would cut down a stiff file folder to about 5 inches accross and then remove the paper tray and open the top cover and remove the toner cartridge. Now I would take that file folder and feed it up the paper channel slowly from the bottom until I see if appear at the top in front by the registration assembly. Hopefully it will force the stuck paper up to where you can grab and remove it. If that does not work, then you need to find the service manual and remove the tray 1 assembly. by dmzcompute on Dec 14, 2008 at 2:39pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I keep getting 13,20 error there is a paper stuck in the printeri accidently punched in two paper in the same time.i can see the papers but cant get
