Printer Error 53.11.03
and just install the two new), I get 53.11.03 error. I have two new C3147A-ALC double sided sticks from AllComponents and AllComponents tells me this is the correct memory for the HP 5Si. I also have some used sticks and have tried those also, but get the same error message. Any advice would be appreciated. Respond to this 0 The error is indicating the memory in slot 1 is unsupported and failed test. What happens is you do not use slot 1? by dmzcompute on Jul 29, 2005 at 2:32pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Had the same problem, used a blower to blow dust off the printer...the error cleared completely by unknown on Sep 6, 2006 at 10:32pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Hey I am getting the smae error and want to try and blow it out with some air. Where did you try and blow it out through...? - Anonymous 0 They are talking about the memory on the formatter. In order to do what they did you would have to remove. Unplug power and network cable or printer cable and remove formatter by unscrewing the two thumb screws and the unit just pulls out. I wouldnt count on the blowing out to work though most likely the memory was poorly seated and when he reseated it fixed the problem. If you havent installed memory lately then the memory probably just went bad or needs reseated. and like dmz said make sure its in slot 1 if you can get it to print. Print the config page and verify that the machine is seeing all the memory you have installed. Hope that helps. by nivek on Nov 21, 2008 at 8:52am Add comment Please sign in to comment well thanks for the info. I have not installed memory lately so it can't be a poorly seated memory. I have done what you said unpluged and unscred the two thumb screws and pulled it out. Beleive it or not who ever initially installed this memroy, they put it in slot # 2, so I removed as you said and reinstalled in slot # 1 ( after I blew a Hurricane type wind into the slot to remove any dust ) and I have the smae error code 53.11.03.At this point a would agree with your statement "If you havent installed memory lately then the memory probably just went bad"I will replace and see what happens, but thanks for the response it was worth a try..... - Anonymous 0 I simply opened the compartiment where the memory card is, blew, adjusted the memory card again. And the problem was fixed. by Anonymous on Oct
