press ↵ Enter. Double-click Print Spooler. Alternatively, click Start → Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Services → Print Spooler 2 Stop and start the spooler. The Stop and Start buttons are located in the Print Spooler Properties window you just opened, on the General tab. Some errors are fixed by stopping, then starting the print spooler again. Leave the window open, as we have a couple other changes to make. 3 Set the Spooler to start up automatically. Select the drop-down menu following "Startup type." Join Now Hi, I'm facing this network printer issue almost everyday now (which used to happen once a fortnight). We printer spooler have 11 Printers on the network (various brands and models) each has its own static IP. We also use a program called PaperCut Provider to track the printing and charge the appropriate client. Most recently, our staff members are having trouble printing (just sits in the queue or freezes) and they notify me. All I do is to restart the Print Spooler Service in the Small Business spooler service not Server (Exchange 2003) and also the PaperCut Provider Services which is attached to the Print Spooler Services. Once done, it'll be back normal and no trouble for a month or so. Until now, this is happening almost everyday. P.S - While restarting the service, sometimes the PaperCut Provider Service wouldn't start (it'll say "Starting...") and I might have to reboot the server :( Any suggestions, recommendations is highly appretiated.
