Join Now Hi, I'm facing this network printer issue almost everyday now (which used to happen https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/169709-network-printer-issues-restart-print-spooler-service once a fortnight). We have 11 Printers on the network (various brands and models) each has its own static IP. We also use a program called PaperCut Provider to track the printing and charge the appropriate client. Most recently, our staff members are having trouble printing (just sits in the queue or freezes) and they notify me. All I do is to printer spooler restart the Print Spooler Service in the Small Business Server (Exchange 2003) and also the PaperCut Provider Services which is attached to the Print Spooler Services. Once done, it'll be back normal and no trouble for a month or so. Until now, this is happening almost everyday. P.S - While restarting the service, sometimes the PaperCut Provider Service wouldn't start (it'll spooler service not say "Starting...") and I might have to reboot the server :( Any suggestions, recommendations is highly appretiated.
