OK... this is REALLY bizarre..... about a week ago I got this error while trying to save a file under Photoshop CS. It happened once... then went away. The very next day... I got the same error while trying to open any (and program error I mean) any file in Photoshop... I'm talking new files or old files, JPEG's, PNG's, TIFF's, etc. I deleted preferences, settings, all of that. Tried booting up without plugs installed, etc. All of the things one would typically go through to fix the problem. I even went so far as to remove every single Adobe application from my box (and all of because of a their related support files) and reinstall everything. Exact same error. Then... intermittently... I could open or save files again... just to have it go back to the same problem as before. This was really bugging me. I then decided to try and run Photoshop that was sitting on another workstation via the network... exact same error. But even stranger than this is... that Photoshop that was running PERFECTLY previous to all of this... no longer works either!! It now shows up with the same error. Really, really bizarre. Anyone else have this issue?Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."by IsabelleVt on Aug 28, 2005 at 5:04:11 pmI started getting the same message yesterday when I tried to save some .psd files I had been working on. Couldn't find a way to get around it and lost them. I replaced the Preferences file with a backup copy I keep on my desktop and all worked as it should until later in the day when I tried to "save as" a file and got the same

I insist to use those fonts, I just don't know why they're causing that error. I tried to use font forge to re-generate the font with different settings, nothing seemed to solve the issue though. I'd love to know how to solve this problem, Thanks. adobe-photoshop fonts pdf share|improve this question asked Nov 12 '12 at 9:00 Don 14416 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted There most likely is no ideal solution. Some fonts do not permit embedding within PDFs. And some fonts are constructed so poorly, they will cause errors inherently. You can try converting the type layers to shape layers and then saving as a PDF. You can try rasterizing the type layers, then saving as a PDF. Those are pretty much your only two options. share|improve this answer answered Nov 12 '12 at 10:34 Scott 94.1k12127249 I was afraid of an answer like that, haha I knew that these are two options I could use but wanted to avoid them. Do you have any idea if moving to InDesign will solve the issue? or are there problems there with fonts as well? –Don Nov 12 '12 at 11:00 If the issue is the font, then it will be an issue anywhere a PDF is generated. Moving to Indesign may not improve anything. –Scott Nov 12 '12 at 15:56 It actually did solve the issue, s
