Files ... Cancel Error 342 while integrating MicroStation Workspace Dear ProjectWise experts, I am attempting to configure MicroStation with ProjectWise so I can use the applications such as Bentley Architecture and Bentley Structural. In doing so, I pointed the Workspaceroot to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\WorkSpace" . The "Site" is managed within ProjectWise database. All the configurations fortriforma such asrelated to architecture and structural are managed in configuration blocks and configured to point managed files and folders in ProjectWise. When I attempt to open a dgn file using Bentley Architecture as application Error 342 halts the process. http://communities.bentley.com/products/projectwise/content_management/w/wiki/10081.last-error-342-failed-to-generate-managed-workspace-configuration-file The errors and related dialog boxes are attached in this thread. Any help on debugging this would be great. Also if you could show me ways to debug ProjectWise would be great. Any workflows regarding Workspace setup is appreciated as well. I am conisidering Workspace in the above mentioned local path as default. I don't use Microstation with PW but that the case when you check out a file and get a simliar message. Cancel Rabi Wed, Dec 30 2009 4:37 PM Thanks Dean for your response. I think we figured out our issue. We had a wrong setup where two usernames were configured to a single working directory and thus PW was throwing errors.
