But when I tested my internet connection everything was fine. Here's what I did and it seemed to solve the problem.I went under settings, Then to the PlayStation Network prompt, I went to System Activation, There where three options after that Game, Video/Music, and PlayStaion Mobile, I was trying to download a movie so I clicked on Video/Music after that I was able to download my movies again no problem I hope it helps you. Much better http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/96044/problems-connecting-my-ps-vita-to-internet-with-my-router than the old one. So my Vita seems to be having a problem with connecting to the internet right now. I've checked everything else - my laptop, my iPod, and even my PS3 - and all have ps vita worked fine. The first time that I tried to connect to the internet, the system said it had internet connection, but when I tried connecting online, it said that there was some DNS error. After the first time, I lost connection overall, and even after resetting the router, the access point, which I may add is only a few meters away, does not even pick up. If anyone has some way to fix this, could not connect it would be helpful. Do you know how to manually assign IP addresses and DNS entries? Assuming it's a simple DNS error, use Google's servers - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. If that doesn't work, setup a static IP address, assigned on your router for the Vita. Search Google, you'll find all the info you need. ant1th3s1s on PSN | Steam | XBL | WII U | 3DS | iOS Back to top #3 BlueFireReaper Posted 26 January 2015 - 10:14 PM BlueFireReaper Transitioning to a new PSN account Premium Member 2,522 posts LocationIn a new college dorm. The support officer suggests turning off the 'Disconnect Wi-Fi Connection Automatically' setting under WiFi settings. Just going to the website wouldn't be as effective but is worth a shot to see if you can log into PSN from your browser. (In case it's blocked for some reason) Try changing the router settings
