Ps3 Connection Error Code 80010201
Edited Nov 10, 2013 Okay I have encountered this new problem. I have recently fixed my PS3 to find that I can 80010201 fix no longer connect to omy wireless network or my controllers. Problem seems to be in the wireless card in the system. New problem has cropped up. Trying to connect with it being hard wired in and it will ps3 error 80130128 not do it. I am getting this 80010201 error code saying that the ethernet cable is not plugged in. BS! It is too. My system is seeing the ip address and everything else, why is not connecting to the internet??? Or you might be lucky, and find it is just the cable.Things to check:1) try plugging the network cable into a different port on the router2) check the corresponding LED for the new port - any activity?3) unplug the cable, and try to connect wireless (as a test). If the PS3 can't see any wireless networks (assuming there are some to see), then it is the cardIf it can see them, chances are it is the cable, or the routerAl

to the internet through an ethernet cable but it wont recognize the cable is even there. An error 80010201 pops onto the sceen. I also tried scanning for the wireless internet connection and it cant even find the access point. I know it is there because I can find it on my cellphone and laptop. I don't believe anything could have happened to the ps3 because I was using the internet a few days ago at my house. Some forums say that I have to pop open my ps3 and start fixing wires and I just dont feel comfortable doing that because I might cause another issue. (Never confirmed fixing anything or anything.. didn't even get a email.) When I got it back I connected to the internet ok, but my media server was throwing a code like that of some sorts. it picked up the media server once then flashed that about 4x and now it won't pick up anything.. I'm completely lost also. Did it connect wireless? and I wouldn't suggest popping anything open neither. Unfortunately and fortunately mine is a brand new GOW edition ps3. Still have no idea what to do with it since I use it basically for streaming media. Report Messa

Go into into Account Management ([Friends] [Account Management]), de-activated and then re-activate again. If that does not work and you are having ssues with all o your games, it is most likely that you will have to replace your BR drive.
