Pstprx.dll Error Outlook 2000

0 Delete: 0 --- Replies to this Problem --- From: Peter on 02/28/2010 I have been receiving the "MAPI was unable to loand the information service PSTPRX.DLL" message when trying to start Outlook 2002. (I'm using Windows 2000.) I went to the Microsoft site and ran their Update program which insured that I have SP3 for Office XP, since that's the version of Office XP I had installed. The problem persists. Then I tried the simple solution of deleting all the Mail profiles and creating a new one. That eliminates that problem and allows Outlook to start and then I can receive email, but can't send it. The solution to that is that I need to specify a differnet port and check a box indicating that for outgoing mail, my server requires authentication. These settings are found on the Advanced settings of the Internet E-mail Settings form that I get to using Tools/E-mail accounts from Outlook (or get to via the Control Panel/Mail icon). The problem is, that the E-mail Accounts display where I go to edit Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) does not display the "More" button to get the the Advanced tab. The bottom and right hand sides of this form are cut off, and there is no way to enlarge the form to get to them. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know of a solution? Thanks. Mine worked fine after that. I had already tri
