Download the latest 7.5 version and install it. It tells me that it's going to install version 7.50.61.0. I install it and it succeeds.I go to the Quicktime control panel applet and click on the "About Quicktime..." button on the Register tab. The version number shows up as 7.4. I am trying to http://fix.quicktime.error.50.winfaults.net/ export my 1hr sequence (DVCPro HD720p60) through compressor and it fails every time with H.264 as well as the MPEG-4 LAN Streaming compression. Each time it starts off ok but then gives me this quicktime error-50. I am using QT 7.1.6 with FCP 5.1.4. I have 5 gigs of ram, 4x2.5 quicktime error GHz G5. I have read through past posts and see that many people get this error but no real solutions or work around. Thanks in advance for any help. I have tried to pinpoint the exact spot in the sequence but haven't been able to. I thought maybe it was a bad permission or something but I've updated all the permissions for all the media to read and write.
