Hyper-V controls one NIC, and all other networking is run off the other NIC. Remote Desktop Gateway services and NPS role service is installed and configured for VPN. Setup a Network Connection rule allowing for authenticated users in a specified group to initiate VPN connections. When VPN connection is attempted from workstations on my internal network, I get a connection and then a message saying Link to VPN connection failed. Checked the error logs on the clients (Windows 7 machines) and I see the 829 error. On the Windows Server 2008 R2 server, I see a message saying unable to add interface ... router manager... I've tried doing a VPN with my IPhone to check the external connection and it fails as well. Any help would be appreciated. Got SSTP working by deleting and then attaching the right SSL certificate to the port 443. Still getting Event 20227/729 errors on L2TP/VPN clients. I'll close this one now. If it's in LAN Routing only, the Internal interface is not a valid interface to be routed on because it is used for demand dial connections or receiving incoming VPN/Dial-In connections only. If this is how you're configured, then the error is benign. But since you can't do this

I started the RRAS service to share internet. However , it doesn't work.I installed W2KSP2 and tried again. It also fail. I have see the event view. there is a error event 20106 appear. i have search form http://support.mircosoft.com. there is a article. it show below: However, my setting is not same as mention . why i cannot using NAT to share my Internet??????????? -------------------------------------------------------- To resolve this behavior, see whether the relevant RRAS server is configured only for local area network (LAN) routing: Click Start , point to Programs , point to Administrative Tools , and then click Routing and Remote Access . Right-click the relevant RRAS server, and then click Properties . Click the General tab, and see whether Local routing only (LAN router) is selected. If the server is configured only for LAN routing, you can ignore the event. In LAN-only mode, the IP Router Manager does not accept the internal interface because the internal interface is used to govern the behavior of wide area network (WAN) interfaces that dial in to the network. 0 Question by:garyluk6 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 63 Best Solution bySysExpert OK, If you only want NAT, then take a look at the following, and also search the MS site on guide to setting up RRAS/NAT.
