Google Recaptcha Not Working

Guides Troubleshooting Important: Version 1.0 of the reCAPTCHA API is no longer supported, please upgrade to Version 2.0. Help! reCAPTCHA is Accepting Incorrect Words No, I Mean *Totally* Incorrect Words My Users Are Starting To Get One Word Captchas recaptcha not showing I Can't Work Out Where to Add reCAPTCHA This advice applies to everyone who's integrating reCAPTCHA -- irrespective of language. Firstly you need to identify two hot spots in your code. These are the places where you'll be adding the reCAPTCHA calls. Display reCAPTCHA: The first hot spot is the code that generates the form. Hopefully that's easy enough to find (by looking for a

tag in your html) and you have been able to display the CAPTCHA on your form. Check reCAPTCHA: The second hot spot is the one that seems to cause people problems. You need to identify the code that handles form submission -- that is the code that runs when the user clicks on submit. It's hard to generalize about what this code looks like but here are some clues that may help you: if your form can ever display an error message, for example if a required field is blank, look for the code that generates that error message. if your form places information in a database look for code that does a SQL INSERT. if your form sends mail, search for the code that does that. Form Already Has Validation Life will be easier if your form already has some validation logic (i.e. it handles invalid input from the user by displaying a message instead of performing whatever action it normally would). If that's the case and you can find the code that does that you're nearly home free. If the form can display an error message search for the text of the error mes

Hacks » recaptcha error (not clickable) recaptcha error (not clickable) Samuel93 @samuel93 11 months, 3 weeks ago Hi, I'm using your plugin (CF7) in my wordpress site. Seeing your "docs" I have set recaptcha (setting site/secret key). I have https://wordpress.org/support/topic/recaptcha-error-not-clickable/ two problem: 1) Recaptcha is under "send" button, but I resolved placing some html https://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla/tutorials/solving-recaptcha-issues "br". 2) recaptcha is not clickable! (I can't click on "I'm not robot" and I can't also click in "privacy" and "terms" link below. I tried to repair this problem installing "Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA by WisdmLabs", but I have the same problem. If you know what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful. best regards recaptcha not https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ Viewing 2 replies - 1 through 2 (of 2 total) davmerit @davmerit 11 months, 3 weeks ago If you know what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful That would probably be possible if you include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form of the CF7 interface. Samuel93 @samuel93 11 months, 3 weeks ago That would probably be possible if you include recaptcha not showing a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form of the CF7 interface. You're right. This is my form: http://lineadiretta.org/contattaci/ In CF7 interface, using default integration my input (in contact module) was:

Il tuo nome (richiesto)
[text* your-name]

La tua email (richiesto)
[email* your-email]

Oggetto
[text your-subject]

Il tuo messaggio
[textarea your-message]

[recaptcha]

[submit "Invia"]

Now, using plugin "Google No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA Settings", my input is:

Il tuo nome (richiesto)
[text* your-name]

La tua email (richiesto)
[email* your-email]

Oggetto
[text your-subject]

Il tuo messaggio
[textarea your-message]

[recaptcha recaptcha-222]

[submit "Invia"]

To see the module, I put in wordpress page: [contact-form-7 id="2217" title="Modulo di contatto"] Viewing 2 replies - 1 through 2 (of 2 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic. not showing and/or invalid captcha code in Joomla? reCaptcha not showing and/or invalid captcha code in Joomla? Last Updated:June 2nd, 2015Category:Basic Tutorials Over the last few days (November 2013) some users of Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.2 have noticed a recurring error when they are use the default ReCaptcha plugin. The form doesn't show the default ReCaptcha box on the Contact view page, on the Registration page or even the GK Contact plugin. Looking through the online google documentation, we noticed that the API library location (URL) changed. In the following article we will show you how to fix it without waiting for an official patch/update for the Joomla! CMS. IMPORTANT NOTE! This bug have been fixed with update Joomla 2.5.17 and Joomla! 3.2.1 - please update your Joomla! Version as soon as possible. The First step, before doing anything else please make sure you're using the correct keys. Are your public and private keys swapped? On the reCAPTCHA configuration webpage we suggest you create a global key by checking the box for "Enable this key on all domains (global key)". If this option is checked, the keys will work on your test.joo.com, test2.joo.com, y.com and any other domains or sub-domains. Second step, you have to modify one line of code in the recaptcha.php file located in: Plugins -> Captcha -> Recaptcha folder. const RECAPTCHA_API_SERVER = "http://api.recaptcha.net"; const RECAPTCHA_VERIFY_SERVER = "api-verify.recaptcha.net"; Change to: const RECAPTCHA_API_SERVER = "http://www.google.com/recaptcha/api"; const RECAPTCHA_VERIFY_SERVER = "www.google.com"; As you can see there is a different URL in the first line. But depends of Joomla version there are few others small changes in this file. That's why we have prepared a fix - just download, unzip and replace the file using FTP/SF
