machines. The only fix I've come across so far is this, except that key doesn't exist on either my machine or on the server(s): To resolve this issue, follow these steps: Start Registry Editor.Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters Under this registry subkey, delete the following values: CertificateX509 CertificateX509 Certificate ID enable remote desktop windows 7 Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the server. Does anyone have any suggestions please as I'm at a total loss what is happening here. Thanks. Local Area Connection -> Properties -> Configure -> Advanced -> IPv4 Large Send Offload =Disabled. If it doesn't solve this issue, you can open the regedit.exe on target server, and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters After exporting this for safekeeping, then you can delete the Certificate keys. Reboot the target server to see whether the same issue still exists. PC A 2.8ghz gigabit ethernet to router to other PC B gigabit ethernet. Now from A to B it gives this error. But from B to A, it doesn't and allows for regular logins over RDC. Any ideas? I have already tried a terminal services regedit.. didn't work.. Because of an error in data encryption, this session will end. Please try connecting to the remote computer again. Cause: Data encryption provides security for data traveling over network connections. A data encryption error can end a session for security reasons. Solution: Try connecting to the remote computer again. Encryption policies can vary between systems and domains. If you continue to see this error message, contact the server administrator. That is Microsoft's Advice. I have tried restaring both PCs.. I have disabled both software firewalls, I have opened up the Remote desktop ports to both machines in the router... I don't get the problem here??? Map yourself with TZ Frappr | Booger's Blog May 5th, 2004,23:08 PM #4 SupaStar View P
