Remove And Check Cartridge On Right Hp 2575cancelled, the print page is spit out partially complete, and the 'align cartridge' error message resumes. This is true whether the alignment is begun from the printer's menu commands or from the computer diagnostic toolbox.I cannot print, fax, or copy. The http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00042885 printer does not function at all.The user's manual seems to imply that the alignment is a fix-all. It makes no mention of what to do when the alignment itself fails.Any ideas? I'd sure appreciate any help. After repowering it prints fine. Seems that when it goes into the sleep mode is when print commands are not accepted. Has anyone else had this problem with the HP PSC 2210XI ?????? I have reloaded driver and also done a hard reset but the same thing occurs. Pulling the plug works but it is also very annoying. Would appreciate any comments. Symptoms include not printing, scanning, copying or faxing. This occurs when the unit is plugged into a surge protector. SOLUTION: Unplug the unit from the surge protector and plug directly into the wall power socket. CAUSE: When the printer goes into sleep mode it reduces the amount of power needed for its uses and the surge protector notes this; however, when you "wake the printer up" the difference in power usage between the two levels may be con

Before, it had been flashing ink low, so we figured that's what it wanted, that the ink was finally gone. We didn't need to do much printing at that time, so I didn't buy new ink cartidges until a few weeks ago. Despite adding new cartidges, and checking several times, it's still flashing "Remove and Check Cartidge" and the hardware is basically incapacitated as it won't even scan, let alone print. We had a virus on our computer, so we figured maybe that was the issue, but even after formatting the hard drive and setting up the computer all over again, the printer continues to flash, "Remove and Check Cartidge" with the yellow print, fax, scan, and copy buttons all flashing simultaneously. Any suggestions? Thanks, Evelynn Evelynn January 2005 There is more help available.
