I get an error saying: "Resource Conflict - PCI Serial Bus Controller on Motherboard". There are no devices resource conflict pci attached to the laptop. And when I try to go into the Setup to try to boot from a CD it still does not work. Basically I am not reaching the Windows part of the setup. If it is you can try to enter the BIOS and reset everything to it's basic setting and try again.The error message that you are getting is telling you that some devices directly connected to the M'Board are in conflict and are attempting to share the same resources. This generally happens when the BIOS has been incorrectly setup or the M'Board is failing.NB's by their very nature lead a hard life and quite often it can be a short life depending on how they are treat
