You may choose to turn on AVS checking and reject transactions for a variety of reasons. Here's a look at the settings available: 4.1 Accepting International Credit Cards If you'd like to accept international customers (credit cards issued by non-US banks) you must at least uncheck "G" (also optionally uncheck "U" and "S"). If you accept non-US cards, the card holder will not have a zip code. In that case, just send CheddarGetter the non-US postal code. We'll send it to the gateway for verification but since "G" is unchecked, the card will not be declined for an AVS mismatch. You can setup your AVS differently for US cards vs non-US cards. To do that, you'll need to pass the ISO standard 2-character country code when creating/updating a customer's payment method in CheddarGetter. 4.2 Accepting Gift Cards Occasionally, a credit card either doesn't have a billing address associated with it or the US based card issuing bank doesn't support AVS. These cards are usually "gift cards". To accept such cards and other non-standard cards, uncheck "U" and "S". 5. Card ID Verification (CVV or CVV2) By default, the NMI gateway does not rejec

Have an account through Merchant One, and NMI is apparently who processes their transactions. Neither of their tech support people are any help, so I guess I'm down to the community to get some help. Running gateway_services_cc credit card module for payment. All was entered correctly. I have two options in my zen-cart checkout, credit card, or check/money order. When I place an order with check, everything works normal, and it goes to my order success page like it should. I get the normal email telling me what I ordered, and my zen-cart admin area can see the order placed. When I place with credit card, after submitting, it does not go to order success, instead it goes to a white screen with nothing on it. As I place the order, it appears to start going through the api, but then leaves me with: index.php?main_page=checkout_process&response=3&responsetext=Duplicate+transacti on+REFID%3A113440987&authcode=&transactionid=&avsresponse=&cvvresponse=&orderid= &type=sale&response_code=300&username=xxxxxxx&time=20101008224206&amount=1.06&ha sh=203f25915abb7eac8dd3805e1ad91c9d Here's the kicker.....it does NOT update the order in zen-cart. I'm attempting to help a client connect the NMI payment gateway to Foxy Cart for their store. The client emailed me their username/password to get response code into their NMI Payment Gateway. I was able to login with that information. I then used that same information to fill out the fields in the Foxy Cart admin: account username: I used the username they provided me for this field transaction key: I used the password they provided to me for this field So I then ran a nmi payment gateway transaction with a live credit card and I am getting this error on the checkout page: "Error: There was an error processing your payment: An error occurred during processing. Please try again. (The original transaction experienced a processing error.) (Response Reason Code: 122)" I found this thread about the issue on the FC forums: http://forum.foxycart.com/discussion/5188/error-authentication-failure-reason-code-122/p1 The conclusion if I am understanding it correctly is that we need to use the username and password in Foxy Cart, not a Transaction Key. Unfortunately the docs in the Foxy Cart wiki aren't providing much information for this payment gateway: http://wiki.foxycart.com/gateways/nmi Anyone have any advice? Do I need to generate instead a Transaction Key (which is not the solution in the above Foxy Cart thread)? Tagged: nmi Comments flinx777 Member July 2013 OK, got it solved. The NMI team had to change some configurations on their end. Once that was done, we could process Credit Cards. fc_adam FoxyCart Team July 2013 @flinx777, Awesome - glad you got it sorted!
