I uninstalled using a third-party uninstaller (for Mac OS) and got rid of all the loose files hanging around. Reinstalled Rosetta, and it all worked. I don't know if the default Rosetta uninstaller would remove all traces of the program. Perhaps you can look around for a Windows program file cleaner. The problem occurred for me when my computer shut off while I was using Rosetta. Good luck!!!
