first thought is that you need to apply the following registry key (if you're on Windows O/S) on the BOE Server. If the keys do not exist, you will need to manually create them.Change "\Suite 11.5" to match your product version.Back up the registry before proceeding:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Crystal Reports\SavedData]"GenerateDataForAllSubreportInstances"="Yes"[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Crystal Reports\SavedData]"GenerateDataForAllSubreportInstances"="Yes"Regards,Wallie Alert Moderator Like (0) Re: Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error Pavan A May 28, 2013 5:59 AM (in response to suba raja) Currently Being Moderated Hi SubaCheck this SAP Note: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1854637It will helpRegards,Pavan Alert Moderator Like (0) Re: Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error Animesh Kumar May 28, 2013 10:12 AM (in response to suba raja) Currently Being Moderated Validate the publication: If CR report scheduled directly (not through Publication) to user's Inbox, does that work? Schedule the Publication to PDF format and check whether it has anticipated data. You may also schedule the publication to CR format to Local Drive >> Open the instance of the report on Local Drive in CR Designer and check whether you get any error while opening it in CR Designer Desktop Tool. Crystal Reports:Print Engine Error. Can anyone suggests me what it is and why it is coming. My Environment is Business Objects XIR2, Windows, DB2 databaseThanks RE: Crystal Reports :Print Engine Error groggle (IS/IT--Management) 23 Sep 07 20:55 Print Engine Error is a vague error message. To retrieve a more meaningful error message, install a copy of Crystal Reports XI R2 Professional onto the BOE XI R2 Server and try running the report again in CR.Some possible causes could be:1) Incorrect data source configuration on the server.2) Corrupt report file (Do any other reports with the same data source schedule ok?)What happens if you try to run the report on demand? RE: Crystal Reports :Print Engine Error sudhach31 (Programmer) (OP) 24 Sep 07 16:38 Hi Groggle,The other schduled reports are working fine which uses the same data source and configuration. Sometimes same report is working fine when scheduled and fails sometimes even when i run it on demand. So i am in dilemma what is the actual error. I have Crystal Reports XI R2 Professional installed on BOE XI R2 Server only. ThanksSudha RE: Crystal Reports :Print Engine Error groggle (IS/IT--Management) 24
