If I do a backup in cwm of a rom that uses link2sd, like the awesome megatron rom, I noticed that after I do a restore that the apps that were linked to the sd card are missing. Then if I reinstall the app the original data is missing. It's not restoring the ext, is this normal? Yes, it is normal because the CWM we use currently doesn't or isn't able to make a backup of the sdext. However, as long as the sdext isn't fiddled with, and the ROM you're using is the same as the previous, you can open link2sd, hit the menu button, and look for "recreate mount scripts", and it'll restore connectivity with everything that was stored on the partition. anaconda691 likes this.
