Is there any way of changing the IMEI or at least getting Android to report back a different IMEI? Many thanks in advance, I'm aware that there may be some legal issues with this but it is not as if the phone has been stolen. It is also illegal to change the IMEIs on any device! If it is a legitimate engineering sample then you should be able to approach the network and request that the phone be unblocked. As for an IMEI being changed during a flash from one rom to another that should not be possible.
 nanortemis 0 Newbie Members 0 8 posts Posted June 23, 2011 Maybe it's legal / illegal ... but for sure it's possible, my IMEI has changed and now I need to find a way to recover it.
 imothep211 0 Ne
