Display Modes 10-01-2008, 01:27 AM #1 Sheeba Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Morro Bay, Ca. Posts: 66 Help! QT qt serial port example reader error Help anyone. I'm trying to convert sme quicktime mov files qt serial port read example to m2p to put on DVD. I have Edius 3.61 and procoder 2. I put the files in Edius and qt serial port programming there's no audio. I tried to convert straight to m2p in both procoder 2 and procoder express. I tried to convert from quicktime to canopus avi file. Procoder converts until the last qserialport error string few seconds then I get "QT Reader general error" box. (I have just upgraded to Quicktime 7.) What's wrong? Do I need procoder 3 or what? Is it problem with quicktime, edius, procoder 2? Any help appreciated. That seems to have been solved in 4.5 and higher. Posts: 66 Yes. They play fine in Quicktime player. And i am using the stand-alone PC2. I also tried Procoder Express and same thing each time. It encodes fine...then 7 seconds before end of clip I get the "QT reader General Error" box.
