After the system starts it gets to the point where the scroll bar with Microsoft shows and then it reboots by itself. In Safe crcdisk.sys location Mode it gets to crcdisk.sys and then it reboots. We contacted Dell, they said it is a software issue. I tried the below process to rectify but nothing happened. 1. Run Windows Start up Repair from Windows Setup Disk. Note:Found could not repair the issue & getting following error Error 1="Problem Event Name= Startup RepairV2" & Problem Signature 01= External

Presumably, it does some kind of CRC checking on data being read off the disk. With the volume of problems that I'm seeing being reported "about it" and the lack of official knowledge base articles about it, I have two suppositions: It just happens to be the last driver that loads while the text-mode driver list is displayed on a "safe mode" boot, so people blame it even though a later part of the boot porcess is hanging.
