I do not know which to blame !Any suggestions as to where to look would be good or what to test would be good.BTW. When I have searched for this in the last few weeks I keep getting hits back to 2009 ... a different OS on different hardware ... is there any simple way of searching these forums, or setting them up so that 'suggestions' do not lead me to old discussions ... it is extremely fustrating and, I would suggest, not nescesary.RegardsMartin. Especially the firmware update has triggered a few that were on the edge to go over. If wireless is dying every 15min or so.. is it auto recovering??Lion also seems to have many more networking issues, even with the latest patch.. but that is only reading posts here, as I have no computer running lion. A couple of things I would do.. 1. Figure out is the issue only wireless connection or the TC.. so connect at least one computer up by ethernet.. and see if it has the same dropout problems. (assuming you don't already). 2. Set the wireless to manual.. lock the channel and change the 5ghz wireless name.. connect to whichever works better for you but accept for testing you are going to keep things locked to find out if it is wireless

When I click "disconnect all", I get a spinning beach ball of death. Restarting the finder doesn't help. Logging out and restarting is not possible anymore. The only thing I can do is a hard reset. Or is there a way to kill the process from the terminal or from the activity monitor? Strange fact: when the interrupted connection window is beachballing, I'm also unable to invoke the 'About this http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/2354/how-do-i-kill-the-server-connections-interrupted-window-process mac...' command in the apple menu. Under these circumstances I would recommend one of the following: Reinstalling OS X (after performing a backup, preferably with Time Machine). Find someone else with identical hardware and software to see if their laptop does the same thing under the same circumstances (might be a compatibility issue with your w

Server connection interrupted Macbook newbie here. I looked everywhere to find an answer but was unsuccessful. I have a MB13" that is connected to the internet via a 2TB time capsule. About every 30 min, "server connection interrupted" error message pops up and gives me the option to "Ignore" or "Eject drive." I always click ignore and there usually server connection interrupted is no problem with pulling/placing data to the HD, but the one time I ejected it my MB would not recognize the HD until I reset the MB. Can anyone help me stop the error messages? Thanks from a noob. We recently moved and have a new ISP and new hardware for the modem and router. With the new setup, everything seems to work fine then after using files from my ReadyNas my computer drops the wireless signal and a window pops up saying "Server Connection Interrupted". This only seems to happen when Im accessing files via my 1 year old iMac with OSX 10.8.2. It seems to work with no issue when I access files through my old 13" MacBook and on my PC running Windows 7. It is very frustrating and I cant seem to pinpoint any reason why this is happening - and I cant really find any info out there with the same issue. Has anyone heard of this happening? Ill list my before setup (where things were working fine) and my new setup.Original setup:ATT U-verse internet and all of their supplied hardwareiMac 10.8.2PC Windows 7Old MacBookNew SetupTime Warner Cable ModemMotorola SURF board Cable ModemLinksys Wireless G 2.4 GH Broadband routeriMac 10.8.2PC Windows 7Old MacBookOne thing to note is that when accessing the ReadyNAS my iMac has always seemed to pull the files a lot slower than when Im on the PC or even from my old MacBook. It didnt make sense to me since the iMac is the newest computer I have. Could this be some "clue" telling me that I need to adjust some settings on my iMac? What settings could I adjust, if any? Would changing from a WEP security setting to a WPA make a difference? Any other trouble shooting advice? Report Inappropriate Con
