You shouldn't have to reset everything to get the market working (let alone every time). you can also try going to the applications and clear the market data. Also, be sure that you're wifi is actually "awake" you can see this from the wifi mac address, if you're seeing all "0"'s, then you know that's what it is. You might notice the wifi appears connected from the icon, but when you dig a little deeper- if there's no mac address

(then hit force close) Can someone help me get this working again??? HTC HERO SPRINT Best Answer I'm having the same problem too. I just bought this phone and never downloaded any new app on it. I http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/22712-attention-server-error-has-occurred/ can't access my account be it gives me " To get the latest version of the My Account application you will now be sent to the Android Market". Guess what happens next?! It sends me to the market and I get "ATTENTION: A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel to return to the previous screen." I've read how to solve this problem in "A server error has occurred" - Android Forums http://androidforums.com/threads/android-market-forcing-close-server-error.28160/ link mentioned above, but I have no clue how to perform what this user is talking about : "are you using ta utility(cache2sd app) ? if so , move your market cache back to your phone , then back to your sd . are you having problems with the browser also ?" Can someone please explain it to me? Thank you! Click to expand... Mine was working last night after I rooted and installed Fresh 1.1 ROM, and now it's not working. I tried rebooting and clearing cache in market with no success. Going to try and reinstall Fresh 1.1 shortly and see if that works. Going to keep searching, but if anyone has any tips, that'd be a great help. EDIT: GOT IT!!! It was the TA Utility, forgot I had installed that. I had moved my Market cache to my SD card and that caused the problem. Found the answer here: http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f41

The link to the firmware no longer works, sorry, and I have not found a replacement. I've just learned of an update for one of the better budget tablets that came out last year. Pandigital is one of the more successful budget tablet makers, and they've been releasing tablets since July 2010. Late last fall they released the 9" Novel, and at the time it was one of the better budget Android tablets. It's getting a little long in the tooth now, given that it has a single core CPU, resistive touchscreen, and runs Android v2.0. But I'm still seeing readers show up and ask questions about this tablet. Given that in the past week someone came looking for a way to update this tablet, I thought it worth a post. Now, Pandigital never released any firmware updates for this device, but someone else did. It's a hacked update, and it actually came out in March. I only found it today. I just finished with the update, and I've confirmed that the Android market does work, and so does the Kindle app and the Amazon Appstore. The process went without a hitch, and I think it's safe for the average user. This firmware is based on the one that originally shipped with the 9" Novel. It was copied off of one and then modified. It comes with a number of apps, including: Android Market Kobo B&N Kindle Android Appstore File Manager Spare Parts Task manager It's still running an old version of Android, and you can get most of the apps online. But I would still get this update just because it adds the official Marketplace. How To The process is pretty simple. You'll need an SD card and you should charge your tablet first. Download this ZIP file. Copy the DAT inside that ZIP file to the SD card in your 9" Novel. Turn off your Novel. Start the update cycle by pressing the up volume button and the power button at the same time. I found the update via SlateDroid. The developer had a 9" Novel back in March and April, but he returned.
