If your host runs suphp all folders need to be 755 and files 644. If your site was using Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker If you have used Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker please remember that after restoring the site to a different location you will need to reconfigure and create a new .htaccess. Login to the back-end of your https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/prbasicts.html site, go to Components, Admin Tools, .htaccess Maker, then change the domain and directory names at the bottom of the page and finally click on Save & Create .htaccess. This is mandatory, every time you move your site to a different host, domain name, subdomain or directory. I can't log in to my site after I restored it to a new location This is a very common mistake with Joomla! 1.6/1.7 and later versions. What you probably not remember is that you modified the cookie setup parameters in your site's Global Configuration page. The thing is, if you modify the cookie domain name and/or path, it's very likely that you will no longer be able to log in to your site if the domain name, subdomain or directory changes - exactly what happens when you restore a site to anywhere except its original location! Luckily, the workaround is very simple. Please edit the configuration.php file in the root o

In admin there is no particular place where it happens, installing components, entering template manager, etc. Normally a refresh gets me past it, also page loads seem to take a long time. My host has offered to move all of my accounts to a different server, not sure server error if it will help. Do you have a suggested method of tracing where this problem is coming from as I'm stumped now. Thanks Guys. #1021491 Damir Preeminent Rocketeer Posts: 13893 Thanks: 1443 Web Developer Re: 500 error internal server error Posted 3 years 1 week ago Its a host problem 99% of time do you have .htaccess file in the root try renaming it to something else internal server error and try turning off the seo setting in the admin back-end and if that will not work tell your host to put you on other server. 1.5.25 PHP 5.2.10 MySQL 5.0.89 We installed Zoo 2.5.4 and also tried 2.5.5. All com_content pages return a 500 Internal Server Error on the frontend. Any other component page works fine - examples Virtuemart, Kunena, DocMan. It only appears to affect com_content. All Zoo system checks are good, com_content table checks out fine. When we uninstall Zoo everything works properly. We've reproduced the issue several times with the same result. We're not seeing any script conflicts or any other errors being reported. I've tried using the default Joomla template, but still have the same issue. I've tried disabling plugins, I've tried creating a new article and menu item to see if items created after the install were affected, and they also produced the error. This is a production site, so as you can imagine, we had to uninstall Zoo for the time being. We're using Zoo on several other sites without issue, so this is definitely strange! Joomla ZOO Edited Order by Votes Newest Active 18 Answers 0 jan Yootheme answered Hi, the issue is caused by a conflict between ZOO and com_s2framework. Both components use a PHP class called "App". Unfortunately there is currently not much we can do about that, sorry. Regards, Jan Edited 0 maxita answered Using Akeeba backups try to backup your website and import it on a local webserver/test ambient/other hosting in this way you can check if its a problem of your server with some extension. Another way its use akeeba tools for repair the database and clear it... 0 3by400inc answered I continued disabling things, and it turns out the problem is the ZOO Shortcode plugin. When I disabled that plugin, com_content pages work just fine. I've reproduced this several times so I'm confident this is the cause. 0 maxita answered Ok perfect thats good 0 jan Yootheme answered Hi, does this only affect articles with a shortcode to a ZOO item? Regards, Jan 0 3by400inc answered @jan - No it does not. We were installing Zoo on this site for the first time so shortcodes had not been used yet. Immediately after installing Zoo all com_cont
