I get 403 errors EVERY time I try to download something. 6 replies 5 have this problem 6443 views Last best download manager reply by Skullcrush02 3 years ago Skullcrush02 Posted 1/7/13, 1:03 AM I was just looking for mods for Oblivion on tesnexus when I suddenly couldn't download anything anymore. I had been downloading things all day, but nothing that would change anything this drastically. I went to other sites and found out I couldn't download anything there either. I've tried clearing my cache, history and cookies to no avail. I tried disabling my plugins and antivirus and http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=570750 again, nothing. I tried resetting my computer, but it was another failure. I tried using IE and still I couldn't download the files. I've been working hard to mod Oblivion, but all that effort seems to be for nothing since the only option I see left is to format my hard drive and start over... I desperately need help so it doesn't come to that. Please HELP! This site details some of the solutions you can try: http://www.symatech.net/error-403 Personally, i just use the built in download manager without any problems and one less add-on, hope this helps. I did use to use mass downloaders or multiple-connection downloaders, although after experiencing several corrupted files, i opted out and just use the built in download manager. Ideally, this sounds more of a question for the third party programmer of DLA, although i did not find any others having this issue via google. Read this answer in context 1 Question tool

Some login pages go to https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1017111 404 or 403 - Open fine in other browsers 15 replies 10 have this problem 2197 views Last reply by jeremy603 2 years ago jeremy603 Posted 8/26/14, 8:41 AM Hiya', folks! Okay, I did some searching for answers before deciding to ask my question - just to put that out there. Found a few things that seemed on the surface to be server error related but then, as I read the posts, determined they weren't. So I'm asking my own question: I have several websites that I can not log on to in Firefox but CAN log onto perfectly fine in other browsers. (As a web designer, I have all the major browsers installed on my system.) For example, my Craig's List login page goes straight down them all to their "404" page. My college Student Information System login goes straight to their "403 - Forbidden" page (note the difference in errors returned). A couple others, as well. NONE of these pages are bookmarked. I tried to "power refresh" each page (Ctrl+F5). No dice. I tried deleting all my history and cookies. No dice. I tried deleting Firefox completely using iObit Uninstall (but did NOT delete my profile folder as I wasn't prepared to do that, yet) and then re-installing. No dice. I tried disabling ALL add-ons, plug-ins and extensions. No dice. I tried deleting the "cookies.sqlite" file (but did not find a "cookies.sqlite-journal" file as indicated in Troubleshooting). No dice. So...before I delete my profile folder, shred Firefox completely from my computer and go for a brand new installation, any ideas? If not in my history or cookies folder - or in the cookies.sqlite file - than WHERE on my system are these pages being cached and WHY are they not allowing me to access them through Firefox? Thanks for any help y'all can provide! Hiya', folks! Okay, I did some searching for
