Service Control Manager 7000 Windows 7
I apologize for reposting but there's just too many questions to look through. Since I installed Windows 7 RC
Event Id 7009 Windows 7 Fix
I've been experienceing total systemfreezes frequently. My laptop won't win any awards for it's hardwarepreformance so maybe it's a CPU or RAM -related problem, but I thought I should ask to see if http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/several-service-control-manager-issues-event-ids/5eb047bb-e5bf-47b3-a661-299f6f9835ba anyone else has experienced this. The problem occurs when I work with two windows (or more) open, one of them has often been Mozilla Firefox 3. The computer freezes after a link is clicked or when I scroll through a site, but also from just enlarging a window from the taskbar. This results in me having to force shut-down and reboot. I don't know how https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/4b36ee08-f738-4f54-bc5e-cdf015e08bd1/frequent-systemfreezes?forum=w7itproperf accurate the RAM/CPU preformance -gadget is, but according to it my computer runs smoothly, hence my suspicion of the RC being the cause. After install Windows 7 RC, the system was freezed ramdomly.I tried to resolve the problem with many solutions suggested in the cyber but it wasn't fix out.I noticed in the event log, there is an event "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Windows Error Reporting Service service to connect." so I checked the Windows Error Reporting Service in services and found it was stopped. So I changed to Automatic and started the service. Since then, my windows works fine and not facing system freeze until now.Hope this helps. Marked as answer by Mark L.
