updating the firmware (both on the old formatter and the new), the customer is still getting this error.I have read the thread regarding the baking of the formatter and the chip is a Samsung chip. I have looked at the solder joints under a high power magnifying glass and see nothing unusual. The printer may print a couple of pages and then errors out. Sometimes it will auto recover on pressing the GO button aka http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/4700DN-49-2f0f-error/td-p/5047987 the check button. Is it possible that the ECU could be responsible? Respond to this 0 Just an idle thought here - any possibility that some of these errors could be linked to a bad DIMM? by Zeb_Carter on Feb 14, 2011 at 6:30am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Is this happening with all types http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/69965 of files or just from on app? What driver are they using.Remove and reload the driver.Try not using a universal driver.I usePCL 5PSPCL 6in that order.Rob S by Rob S on Feb 14, 2011 at 8:01am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I am getting the same error from the panel by printing event log page by HRHPRINTERS on Nov 8, 2012 at 9:09am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 First, you pre-heated your oven to 350 degrees so that the whole time it was in there would be at that temp. The Formater board was set with the memory module. removed First then you put the in the oven for EXACTLY 8 minutes.Reinstall & Powered on the P3005, watched the display and Wait for a ready screen. by unknown on Feb 15, 2015 at 11:00pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment HP LaserJet P3005 Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc. Thanks. by unknown on Nov 14, 2006 at 7:17am Add comment Please sign in to comment Most 49 errors are firmware related, however, it can also be a bad file (most time adobe) which can cause the issue. Make sure the error is not coming up by trying to print the same file each time since if the file is causing it, it will hapen every time. - dmzcompute 0 49 errors usually mean firmware (firmware chip) on formatter.i recently had one giving a 49.4c0f error that turned out to be the jet direct card (j615n) causing it intermittently.supposedly you can reflash the firmware. by cyborg on Nov 14, 2006 at 1:59pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please
