Apr 23, 2007 01:13 AM|diane_nz|LINK Hi Just wondering if anyone can help. We've got an asp.net website which does authentication through ADAM and authorisation using AzMan (Azman stored in ADAM). The website has been in production for about 2 months now, but in the last week been getting the following error with stacktrace below. The code snippet which generates the error is: AzAuthorizationStoreClass store = new AzAuthorizationStoreClass(); string connString = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["AzmanConnectionString"]; store.Initialize(0, @connString, null); IAzApplication azApp = store.OpenApplication2(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["AzmanApplicationName"], null); The error occurs in the call to OpenApplication2(..), the initialize(..) call is ok. Once the error occurs, none of the asp.net pages can be loaded at all. To fix, all I have to do is stop/start (or recycle) the Application Pool in IIS (which the website is attached). Setup wise, the asp.net website are sitting on 1 server, and the ADAM/AZMAN instance is on another server. I can run the same code successfully connecting to the same Azman store and azman application from another website (when the error occurs), or from a console application without problem, so I don't think its a problem with ADAM/AZMAN, but maybe something to do with the IIS worker processes? I've tried several different worker process recycling configuration without luck. I've searched the internet, and the only thing I can find related is: http://www.derkeiler.com/Newsgroups/microsoft.public.dotnet.security/2006-02/msg00241.html I've also manually sync'ed the time between the app server and the ADAM/AZMAN server, but the error still occurred. Any help/hints would be greatly appre
