and the usb is connected to a back port, like the program suggests. however, whenever I connect my DS, it keeps giving me a "link error [006]" followed by a "link error [002]." if I try to burn anyway after that, it gives me a "link error [003]" and completely freezes. also, when I use the regular elink program, when it connects and gets the errors, the screen goes white on my DS. I use a DS Lite, so

I tried the elink beta program they had for the Lite, and the "USB connected..." screen stays when I connect, but I still get the same errors. I've tried googling all I can, but I can't find any kind of solution. I use 32 bit Vista, but I've set the program's compatability to XP Service Pack 2, and I've even tried it on a computer running XP. still the same results. I really need help with this...I don't want to have wasted my money... If you have the Elink running when you start the program (like the instructions say you should), it won't work. Whenever I attach the USB cord (one that I've used with many other devices successfully) the software comes up with "Error 002" and "Error 006" and tells me to retry. I've used several different versions of http://club.dx.com/forums/forums.dx/threadid.205217 the software and have met with the same results every time.The cart itself functions (I can boot the preinstalled NES emulator and game just fine) but I can not put anything onto it.I'm running a Windows XP computer, have tried the ELink cart in a normal DS and a DS Lite, have tried two different USB cords, and have tried both front panel USB ports and motherboard USB ports. I can not get this to function properly even when following directions on other sites to the letter.I hope that there is some fix to this so that I don't have to return it. Im really mad right now I want to be playing Mother 3 in english, and I do NOT wanna wait 1-2 months to send this back and get a replacement. Wow this stinks.I tryed this on every USB point on my pc, I tryed older versions of software, I have it plugged into fully charged NDS Lite and GBA Micro. I have tryed the stock usb cord, and also a ps3 usb cord that fits as well. I googled and looked up any info I can find, no luck.
