Default Value is not a Valid Number when I try to add columns together to get an OnHand quantity of inventory under different people.  I've tried all the formulas that I can find sharepoint calculated column formula generator but always come back to these errors.The list I created has a Title column for description of the part, next column is employee #1's name, next column is employee #2's name, next column is OnHand (which is supposed to be the sum of what employee #1 and #2 have), next column is MinQTY which has no calculations as we determine the Minimum Qty, then lastly, is the formula contains reference(s) to field(s). OrdQTY (which is supposed to calculate the Order Quantity based on the MinQTY minus the OnHand, but I haven't even gotten that far in figuring this out since I'm stuck on the OnHand column).The column information for the employee is column type is Number, information is required in the column, no minimum or maximum value has been specified, number of decimal places is 0, default value is Number, but there is no set number in the field because that number is ever changing.I have written down the steps that I used to create the OnHand column, the formulas that I have tried and the errors that I get.  If anyone can advise on what I may be doing wrong or what I can try, that would be appreciated.  If this is posted in the wrong place, let me apologize in advance as I did a search for the errors and tried to post in the same location as the other topics of the same nature.1.  Create Column2.  Column Name:  OnHand  3.  Type of Information for this column:  Number4.  Require that this column contains information:  Yes5.  Number of decimal places:  06.  Default Value:  Calculate

I made a new view "Upcoming Birthdays", which should show me all birthdays within the next 7 days. The filter of the view looks as follows: But as an error I get: Filter value is not a valid number. A customer recently contacted me with just this type of question :- They use a SharePoint list to keep sharepoint calculated track of orders waiting to be manufactured and delivered - so amongst other fields they have Scheduled Delivery Date (which they have promised to a customer) and the Estimated Delivery Date which is kept up to date with the latest estimate. Most of the time the two agree but sometimes for various reasons the delivery date slips. They have been using Reminder to sharepoint calculated column send out automated emails for upcoming orders and ones that had just been missed but they wanted to setup a view that would show only orders where the Estimated delivery date was later than the date they had told the customer. Account managers could then use this list to keep customers up to date - "There is a delay on that order we have scheduled for you for next month, we estimate it will be ready on the 17th" Sounded pretty simple to me and I confidently told them how they could do it - just setup a new view with a filter to only show those records where Scheduled Delivery Date is greater than Estimated Delivery Date.
