[SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3202) BACKUP LOG is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). The step failed. Problem Description. We were trying to perform a transaction log backup to disk and it failed. We got the above error message in the SQL Server error log. Cause. There could be many causes to this error, but in this case there was not enough space on disk to create the transaction log backup. Solution. Either free some space or change the disk drive where the backup log is being created. .Send mail to webmaster@sqlcoffee.com with questions or comments about this web site.
