An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists. Sapete come posso risolverlo? Grazie mille in anticipo. O ci sono altre questioni? Questo è l'ultimo messaggio di errore che è apparso: "General Error SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Too many connections [1040] An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists."

I also put in place a cron job that tries to connect to the database every 15 mins, if it gets a ‘too many connections' error, it tries to restart the webserver. It calls a shell script connection-test.sh that runs a php file in the same directory. It was almost completely ineffective - by the point it kicks in the webserver has ground to a halt.
