time:12:28 AM Posted 08 October 2012 - 02:22 PM hi y'all, I receive the following error message often, click the X and it's gone. But I'd like to fix it. Did a GOOGLE search and could not get an understandable course to follow. Message: An error occurred while initializing SQL Server Compact: The database file may be corrupted. Run the repair utility to check the database file [Database name = \\?\C:\ProgramData\DDNi\Oasis2Service\Data\Oasis2.sdf ]. I have no idea what program is generating the message, nor what repair utility to run. I'd appreciate some direction. They told me to go into Control Panel click on "uninstall Program" select "Vaio Messenger" and delete it. Apparently it's a program that they no longer use which causes the Pop-up. It worked for me.
