Unknown User asked Dec 10, 2001 | Replies (1) Need some help .Got a request from one of our customers to delete the log files till last month from the production server to increase the space . The Archive Log files do not occupy much space but the Sql Server Agent Log file occupy nearing 20 GB of space .There are 2 sqlagent log files, the earlier one sqlagent.1 (20 GB)and the current one is sqlagent.out (5 kb) in the D:\MSSQL7\Log directory. I am not sure of the exact procedure to follow to clear the log files .Can I remove the sqlagent.1 from the Operating System Files .Looking forward to your assistance in this regard.
