I carry this same statemetnt out immediately following the failure using dbaccess and it is successful. Does any one know what other mewanings error 100 may have. It is likely that the Informix environment variable is not present or not pointing to the correct folder. It should point to for example c:\informix\msg and within that folder should be 4 files. Of most importance is the citoxmsg.pam file.
