Normally 403 is permissions not correct.500 is a server error somewhere. Check the forum error log, and also webserver error log. 0 Ajax Chat: Error: Connection status: 500 Hello,I administrate 3 separate forums and all are experiencing massive spam of:Error: Connection status: 500in the ajax xmlhttprequest status 0 Ajax chat.theshinigamis.freeforums.orgg5allies.freeforums.orgteamwin.freeforums.orgThe more people in the chat the more frequently it will come up.However, I have been in chat alone and gotten spammed with the error at times to.Sometimes it happens unprovoked and sometimes it replaces http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=337234.0 things users have tried to type.This issue has come and gone over the years, usually for a few hours then the site would crash + come back and be fine for weeks...But this is now ongoing at least 5 days straight.Any suggestions? thanks. For example, when debugging my site with Visual Studio, if I have stopped the debugging session, any request that tried to connect will get net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED and the status code will be zero.
