Dvd Styler Error Transcoding
Frank, Error 2 means that it did not find a file or directory in the command string. Looking at your command string, I find it odd that there is a comma in "Eigene, Programme" since I thought it was supposed to be "Eigene Programme". Also, there are two forward slashes between MacOS and dvdauthor (in the first case) and between MacOS and spumux (in the second). To test, go to Konfiguration>Einstellungen>Systemkern in DVDStyler and select Temporäre Datein nicht löschen. Try to generate a DVD without menus - this will create the template file "dvdauthor.xml" but will result in the error you mentioned above. Then open a command prompt and execute: /Applications/Eigene Programme/VideoProgramme/DVDStyler.app/Contents/MacOS/dvdauthor -o /Users/frankboehme/ripped_DVD/dvd-out -x /Users/frankboehme/ripped_DVD/dvd-tmp/dvdauthor.xml If that command does not fail with error 2, then DVDStyler is trying to execute an invalid command (typo). Make sure you are using the most recent available version of DVDStyler for MacOS, just in case this has been fixed in a newer release. If you are using the most recent version and the command above works, this should be filed as a bug

Join Date Aug 2011 Beans 174 DVD Styler - unable to transcode error - PLEASE help It wasn't event that long ago that I made a full DVD with DVD styler from multiple different videos... it worked like a charm... but now I keep getting an "unable to transcode" error... the exact error from when it comes up is this: Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (h264 -> mpeg2video) Stream #0:1 -> #0:1 (ac3 -> ac3) Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Numerical result out of range Error transcoding of /home/psychtrailmix/Desktop/aboutason.mp4 I don't understand this, it's very frustrating because I really like this program. I'm glad this program is working for me again, I love it! Best DVD authoring software available for linux operating systems in my opinion. Thanks for your response anyway.
