I changed all the settings in the Organization section of Exchange Admin to allow or unallow non-provisional devices...blah blah blah. Nothing changed. Our certificate is home grown but the Account Settings seems to have no problem with it during setup. And as I said...all the contacts sync up with the server. I had Exchange Active Sync configured with my work provided exchange email account. Everything was great until I downloaded the Android 2.2 update on Thursday August 5, 2010. Right after this, I noticed my exchange emails would not sync. After talking with Sprint technical support, we removed my Exchange Active Sync account, rebooted the phone and reconfigured the Exchange Active Sync account. Emails and contacts synced fine, however I received the client/server conversion error when for the calendar syncronization. After working throug

Open the mail app and delete your exchange account (Settings > Delete Account). Then re-add your Exchange account. After this my Exchange contacts showed up again. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. It had many cool features, looked better and performed faster than previous versions of Android. However, some bugs are inevitable in any OS update and to fix such issues Android 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 has been released. Though there aren’t much android error codes popping up in Kitkat as compared to Jelly Bean, the Exchange ActiveSync or EAS sync error seems to be bothering a lot of users. However, there is an easy solution which seems to have worked for many users of Motorola, Nexus and Samsung Galaxy devices. This w ill fix issues for users who use Corporate sync with Exchange. Here are the easy steps to fix the EAS sync error in Android KitKat: Go to system Settings >> Accounts >> Select “Corporate” Press your menu button or the three dots on the upper right screen >> Select “Sync Now” Open up your notification window by swiping down from top of your screen. There should be some kind of security alert in the notifications >> Select option with activate now. Note: This method was recommended by Motorola tech support upon receiving complaints regarding the Exchange ActiveSync or EAS error. Hope this solved the issue for you.
