Syntax Error In Programming
Oct 2005 Posts: 15 Help with cowtip? Is there some page, beside ingame, that shows some examples on how a tooltip can look, and the code? Some sort of semantic error wiki or anything? And, how do you hide lines in the tooltip? Like showing of guild, the default setup show the "Guild:" even if the player dosen't have a guild, it also show's "Guild:" on non-player(NPC's). How can i make those lines hide/only show up if the player/NPC has a guild? Not sure there's a page for stuff like that yet. Sounds like you're just looking for a few ideas. Below I've provided my own setup, which I think is fairly minimal. My guild line is not present at all if there is no guild. Here's my left side: Code: [IsPlayer ? Name:ClassColor ! Name:HostileColor] [(Guild = 'player':Guild ? GuildRank:HostileColor ! Guild:HostileColor)] [SmartRace] [Faction:ReputationColor(Faction)] [(MaxHP:Short " HP"):HPColor] [Zone] [Status] And my right side: Code: [DifficultyColor Level ShortClassification] [IsMana ? (MaxMP:Short " MP"):PowerColor] __________________ Author: EggTimer, SavedInstances Last edited by jokeyrhyme; 12-30-2008 at 12:33 PM. (NOTE: If you plan on using a layout http://forums.curseforge.com/showthread.php?t=15466 other than the default layout, you need to delete the RantTooltip_Layout folder first.) RantTooltip is a tooltip addon that was influenced by oUF to include a layout system for tooltips. You'll find it very similar to oUF. A sample layout is included, based on p3lim's oUF layout. It was designed to match p3lim's layout due to my personal use http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info10988-RantTooltip.html of it. I take no credit for the design. The documentation included in the zip file should give you all the information you need on how you create your own tooltip layout. For everyone who prefers the original RantTooltip look, I've uploaded a layout called RantTooltip Classic. -[Rum] (Stuck) 0.28 - "<" and ">" will now be colored according to the tag variable the encompass. - The last player's talent spec will now be cached. This will stop the "Loading" text from flashing in some cases. 0.27 - Colons next to tag variables are no longer colored to be consistent with the adjacent variable. This was conflicting with tag updates. - Added two more new tags: $curshort and $maxshort. These variables will display health and power values but will reduce their size if necessary. - For example: 125000 becomes 125k. 1500000 becomes 1.5m. - Added a $spec tag which will display the player's current spec - their talent tree with the most points in it. - Do not use $spec and $talents in the sam
be written in a particular programming language. For compiled languages, syntax errors are detected at compile-time. A https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syntax_error program will not compile until all syntax errors are corrected. For interpreted languages, however, a syntax error may be detected during program execution, and an interpreter's error messages might not differentiate syntax errors from errors of other kinds. Unfortunately there is some disagreement as to just what errors are "syntax errors". For example, some would say syntax error that the use of an uninitialized variable's value in Java code is a syntax error, but many others would disagree[1][2] and would classify this as a (static) semantic error. In 8-bit home computers that used BASIC interpreter as their primary user interface, the SYNTAX ERROR error message became somewhat notorious, as this was the response to any cowtip syntax error command or user input the interpreter couldn't parse. A syntax error may also occur when an invalid equation is entered into a calculator. This can be caused, for instance, by opening brackets without closing them, or less commonly, entering several decimal points in one number. In Java the following is a syntactically correct statement: System.out.println("Hello World"); while the following is not: System.out.println(Hello World); The second example would theoretically print the variable Hello World instead of the words Hello World. However, a variable in Java cannot have a space in between, so the syntactically correct line would be System.out.println(Hello_World). A compiler will flag a syntax error when given source code that does not meet the requirements of the language grammar. Type errors (such as an attempt to apply the ++ increment operator to a boolean variable in Java) and undeclared variable errors are sometimes considered to be syntax errors when they are detected at compile-time. However, it is common to classify such errors as (static) semantic errors instead.[2][3
