Posts Player Join Date Jul 2011 Posts 31 CharacterPetite Mort WorldExodus Main Class Weaver Lv 60 A System Error has occurred-2146697211 - HTTPS System Error When I https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/2vvbny/launcher_error_2146697208_none_of_the_previously/ open the launcher, I get this error and it closes. Searching the web for solutions yielded many potential fixes but none of them have worked. I even tried contacting my ISP but they see no issue on their end and my internet is otherwise fine. Of course it's Saturday so I can get no support via chat or phone... This reddit... http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...r_has_occured/ It was the LAN settings. Somehow it got switched to use Proxy. Switched it back to auto-dectect and Launcher works. Man, that sucked. I noticed the proxy issue in firefox and changed it, but didn't in Explorer. I had to enable Explorer to change it's setting. Ive googled and apparently its an issue that was encountered in the beta. The fix was either running as an ADMIN, Deleteing the folder in the documents and neither have worked. Ive tried to disable the UAT, I uninstalled and reinstalled as an Admin, ive tried to run steam administraivly then reinstalled the game again and i still encountered the issue. And because it says its an HTTPS error ive verified that both Chome and IE are up to date ive even downloaded firefox and made that my default browers and no luck.
