Pcie Training Error System Halted
topic #1 silliconevil Posted 24 April 2011 - 08:06 AM silliconevil InsanelyMac Protégé Members 26 posts Hi Guys,I'm trying to build my first hackintosh using ##### and #####.Unfortunately at the http://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/886-memory-allocation-error-at-boot-non-recoverable-system-halted/ moment i'm stuck at the very beginning:After I partitioned my HDD into 3 partitions of 500GB I insert ##### disk and get the following when trying to load:boot0: GPTboot0: testboot0: errorDoes anyone know what is wrong? If its the partitioning, can anyone tell me where to find a guide on how to format hdd correctly? It feels like if been searching for ages http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255517-just-a-simple-beginners-fault/ now.ps. I had an installation before this, using Empire EFI Boot CD, since ##### didn't work at the first try. But after troubles at the updating process i decided to go back to the beginning and install exactly following the guides i found.---EDITIt seems that any Boot CD results in more or less the same error...Hmmm. Major Problem.---EDIT IIWell, just fond myself a littlebit in Hagars "Help, I#m a noob"... ))But be assured that I try to learn as much as i can while waiting for answers. /EDIT thx. Upgrade, if necessary. You need a retail Snow Leopard disc. Boot from it and partition the internal drive with the default options (one data partition.) Then call Apple phone sales and buy Lion. You'll be given a code to to download it from the App Store.
