MY DAUGHTER WAS INSTALLING A NEW DISC GAME ON HER LAPTOP (TOSHIBA TECRA 8000) WHEN IT FROZE UP AND GAVE HER A BLUE SCREEN THAT READS: WINDOWS PROTECTION ERROR-YOU NEED TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER-SYSTEM HALTED HOWEVER IT IS FROZE THERE AND WE CAN DO NOTHING TO GET RID OF THE MESSAGE AND RESTART THE PUTER! WE DO NOT HAVE A MANUAL AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET IT BACK ON TRACK. PLEASE HELP!!! WE WILL TRY ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE. THANKS IN ADVANCE! But start by hitting the Control-Alt-Delete keys to see if it will reboot first.
