When you press OK, you receive: Specified port cannot be added. Operations could not be completed. When you press OK, the wizard terminates without adding a port. This behavior will occur if a 3rd party version of Wsnmp32.dll is located at %SystemRoot%. To resolve this issue: 1. Use Windows Explorer is select %SystemRoot%\Wsnmp32.dll. 2. Rename the file as Wsnmp32.Old_dll, so that it doesn't take precedence over the Microsoft supplied file at %SystemRoot%\System32\Wsnmp32.dll. I have hit this previously but the wsnmp32.dll was alive and well in \windows. After deleting this file the Standard TCP/IP Port wizard ran fine. Are there any dll files in your \windows directory? When Vista installed it saved all of my applications/docs to a folder called windows.old. I subsequently had to reinstall all of my software applications to run under Windows Vista. Since I've reinstalled everything I realized my IP address keeps changing on my printer and takes my installed printer offline. I corrected the IP address to be static, but now I can't change my printer configuration in VISTA to correct the Printer Port tcp mib to be the static IP of the printer, I receive an message, "Error loading the Tcp Mib Library". I've searched for this error code all over the place and can't find it anywhere... anyone see this before? My System Specs You need to have JavaScript enabled so that you can use this ...
