Copied from another forum: CAUSE This behavior may occur if a third-party version of the Wsnmp32.dll, Ntprint.dll, Tcpmib.dll, Mgmtapi.dll, or Snmpapi.dll file has been copied to the %SystemRoot% folder. RESOLUTION To resolve this behavior, rename or delete these files in the %SystemRoot% folder. These files are taking precedence over the Microsoft-supplied file in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. I found the Snmpapi.dll under the root folder, renamed it (for safety reasons) and it worked like a dream.... didn't even have to reboot. I was able to configure my port, correct the IP address and now my printer

Apr 21, 2003 Jerold Schulman | Windows IT Pro EMAIL Tweet Comments 0 Advertisement When using the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard, you receive: Error loading the TCP tcp mib library MIB library. When you press OK, you receive: Specified port cannot be added. Operations could not be completed. When you press OK, the wizard terminates without adding a port. This behavior will occur if a 3rd party version of Wsnmp32.dll is located at %SystemRoot%. To resolve this issue: 1. Use Windows Explorer is select %SystemRoot%\Wsnmp32.dll. 2. Rename the file as Wsnmp32.Old_dll, so that it doesn't take precedence over the Microsoft supplied file at %SystemRoot%\System32\Wsnmp32.dll. When Vista installed it saved all of my applications/docs to a folder called windows.old. I subsequently had to reinstall all of my software applications to run under Windows Vista. Since I've reinstalled everything I realized my IP address keeps changing on my printer and takes my installed printer offline. I corrected the IP address to be static, but now I can't change my printer configuration in VISTA to correct the Printer Port to be the static IP of the printer, I receive an message, "Error loading the Tcp Mib Library". I've searched for this error code all over the place and can't find it anywhere... anyone see this before? My System Specs You need to have JavaScript enabled so that you can use this ...
