Error Loading the Tcp Mib library Posted on 2008-12-15 Wireless Networking Wireless Hardware 1 Verified Solution 2 Comments 3,251 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-12 I have read the solution on here and http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/error-loading-the-tcp-mib-library-error-when-i-add/27a46cd3-9766-4d5a-8762-e2c40c392dfe other web sites, but i don' t know what files to look for, how to look for them in the system folder, etc. Do i look in the System 32 folder or the system folder? How do i know which ones to delete/rename? I am trying to "add tcp/ip port" for a wireless printer that I just bought. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 0 Question by:fawbbe01 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 3 Best Solution https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23987037/How-do-i-fix-this-error-Error-Loading-the-Tcp-Mib-library.html bymattdavey117 The ones in %SystemRoot%/System32 are the defaults and should work. The problem generally occurs if another version is in %SystemRoot%. These override the defaults and can cause problems. If you rename the problem .dlls in %SystemRoot%, the ones in %SystemRoot%/System32 should get loaded. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/261302 So, do the following: * Check to see if any of the following problem DLL files are present in C:\WINDOWS: Wsnmp32.dll, Ntprint.dll, Tcpmib.dll, Mgmtapi.dll, or Snmpapi.dll * If any of them are present, rename them. * Make sure that files with those names are present in C:\WINDOWS\System32. If not, you will need to restore them from somewhere. * Reboot your computer. 0 Message Author Closing Comment by:fawbbe012008-12-15 Your description on what to do and where to look was the best i found anywhere; better than the Microsoft support site.
