an existing word document (*.dot) with some textfields in it. This is no problem and works fine. But in the middle of the word document, I have to put a continuous text. I get the error message "Error 213 - Microsoft Word: Text too long" (Sorry - don't know the correct message in english, have a german version..). I think the text to put in the check the spelling of the filename and verify that the file location is correct excel 2010 field cannot be longer than 256 bytes. Does anyone know, how to put continuous text into the word document ? Another question is, how to put the text to any place in the document (means not to put the text in a field) ? Try opening word or excel in safe mode. Click Win+R, type winword /safe or excel /safe. Go to file>options>add-ins and select COM add-ins, uncheck the add-ins.
