Since it freezes I have to close it inside the taskbar but after it is closed, I get the error which is mentoined in the Topic Title of this message. I already made sure about Firewall and its no problem in that because I don't even have it (just disabled windows one). I also made sure that I don't have a problem with memory (cpu / rams). While my research I saw that the problem might be in activex controls because i didn't know how to check if I have them. So I decided to just download activex and i downloaded it from: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Mozilla-ActiveX-Control-Download-20072.html I noticed (don't know if this is true or not) that many programs have their own activex controls. I coudln't find activex for the software which produces an error so I just downloaded some random activex controls: in this case the browser's one which im using - firefox but the software is NOT being runned through firefox. Towards fixing the issue mentoined in the title, I think its the best to be focused on activex first because I have instinct activex is still the reason. I

The macro runs a couple of make-table queries and then runs a module. The module opens an Excel file, updates a pivot table, saves the file to the original folder on the company network, and saves a duplicate on the company's sharepoint intranet site. The database and Excel files were created in Office 2003 and this has worked without a hitch until... This week, my company (finally) upgraded my Office products to 2007 and now I am receiving an Automation Error when the file is trying to save to the intranet site. Incidentally, I have a separate macro i can run directly in Excel that saves the active document to the intranet. This one still works so it must have something to do with Access. Is there a setting in Access I need to confgure for this to work? I have relaxed all macro securities, etc. totheir lowest levels to no avail. Here is my module code: Function RunExcel() Dim xlApp As Object Dim xlWb As Object Dim ExcelFile1a As String Dim ExcelFile1b As String ExcelFile1a = //network path here/filename.xls" ExcelFile1b = "http://intranet path here/filename.xls" Set xlApp = CreateObject("Excel.Application") Set xlWb = xlApp.workbooks.Open(ExcelFile1a) xlApp.Visible = True 'Update Pivot Tables xlWb.Worksheets("Sheet1").Select xlWb.Worksheets("Sheet1").PivotTables("PivotTable1").RefreshTable ‘Save to network folder xlWb.Save 'Save to Intranet Folder xlWb.SaveAs (ExcelFile1b) 'THIS IS WHERE THE ERROR OCCURS xlWb.Close xlApp.Quit Set xlWb = Nothing Set xlApp = Nothing End Function I appreciate any help. I use this functionality on many databases and they are all failing. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter - Jim (Office 2010) "Th
