checking the replication of my root and child dc's by the commands "repadmin /syncall" and "repadmin /showreps" I got an error as shown below: can't retrieve message rpc replication timeout mins string 1908 (0x774) error 1815 Googling it I could find this may be event id 1188 also due to an issue with DNS entries, but I was sure of no DNS change recently within rpc fail with status 11 pokemon go the domain. I tried my luck restarting the "NetLogon" service and it worked. Again executing the commands above gave me the output as shown below: Share this:Click to share on Twitter https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2694215 (Opens in new window)Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to email (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading... Everything seems http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/192698-46-replicating to be replicating OK, but if I run the command repadmin /bridgeheads I get the following error: Can't retrieve message string 0 (0x0), error 1815 The same error appears if I run the remote the command from any of the servers in eithe site. I've copied the output below: repadmin running command /bridgeheads against server localhost Gathering topology from site Main-Office (dc01.leadershipfactor.net): Bridgeheads for site Main-Office (dc01.leadershipfactor.net): Source Site Local Bridge Trns Fail. With two sites set up like this, usually the KCC sets up the replication topolgy without any problems, but if it does not specify a bridgehead server at one or both of your sites, you may have some errors that pop up, but with the small number of domain controllers you may not see any functional impact. Check your replication topology and make sure that you have a bridgehead in each site. You could delete your replication connections and have the KCC set them back up, or you could set them up manually. Before you do anything, follow the usual caveats -- backup
